What is the Arts Network?
Often it can feel as though we are being forced to choose between our commitment to Christ or our commitment to our creative practice. The Arts Network exists as a community to help support students within the arts to create, think, live and speak for Christ as you pursue the creative gifts God has given you.
Some of the creative fields we support: film, fashion, fine art, architecture, performance, creative writing, design, theatre, interior design.... and many others!
How Can the Arts Network Support Me?
1. To help you to grow in biblical understanding
Supporting your understanding of the creative arts in light of the Biblical worldview
2. To enable you to engage well with our culture
Discipling you to be confident in the Lordship of Christ and equip you to think critically and engage well with the arts world, while proactively investing in the culture
3. Help you to creatively and authentically share the gospel
Supporting you to grow in sharing Jesus authentically in your creative field
4. Connecting you to other creative students
Building a diverse community where we encourage and sharpen one another in faith and practice
What is Happening in the Arts Network?
Local Arts Hubs
A space for creative students to build community - gathering together on a regular basis to share fellowship, discuss relevant topics, and generally build each other up and point each other towards Jesus.
Resources
Our website is filled with resources that aim to support you as an individual or your local Interface Hub to help you think biblically about the arts, to encourage you to speak authentically and creatively about your faith, and live for Christ in your creative field.
Events
Throughout the year we will join together as creatives from across the UK to enjoy teaching and fellowship. These events will be both in person and digital. More information about upcoming events can be found here.
